The Human Resources Busines Partner is responsible for providing sound advice to stakeholders and supporting the execution of people strategy for the organisation. The HRBP provides generalist advice, support and guidance across recruitment, learning and development, workforce planning, ER/IR, reward and recognition and culture and engagement. They also lead the development and implementation of identified initiatives across the organisation.

CORE ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Contribute to the development of the People & Culture plan, supporting alignment to organisational goals
Provide generalist human resources advice to the business in an accurate and timely manner
Support and guide the ongoing development of talent across the business utilising a variety of methods and programs
Engage with stakeholders on discussions around organisational culture, and support the execution of plans and initiatives to maximise employee engagement
Provide input to people related topics for development and delivery of appropriate programs, initiatives and courses as required
Support compliance with relevant legislation, including contributing to the preparation of relevant reporting
Interact with Unions as required
Ensure fair and equitable frameworks and systems are upheld in the business Support regular processes related to reward and recognition, such as performance reviews and salary reviews
Engage heavily with the Workforce Planning team, supporting labour efficiencies and Award compliance
Participate in recruitment and selection activities, ensuring best fit appointments Support the business from a people and culture perspective for company wide initiatives as required
Work closely with Payroll and Workplace Health and Safety teams to support as required Any other duties as reasonably required or directed
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
Essential
Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Psychology or Business
5+ years experience in a generalist human resources role
Previous experience in fast paced working environments
Demonstrated experience with end to end investigation processes
Experience in all human resources sub-disciplines, including but not limited to recruitment, learning and development, ER/IR, workplace health & safety, reward and recognition, culture and engagement and payroll
Advanced MS Word and intermediate MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
Desirable
Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training
CPHR certification
Experience within FMCG/manufacturing industries highly desirable
Experience with visa processes, labour modelling and analysis
Strong analytical and problem solving ability
High levels of resilience, professionalism and work ethic
Approachable, energetic and flexible in approach
