Overview:

The Human Resource Officer Intern plays a crucial role in supporting the HR department in various administrative tasks recruitment processes and ensuring compliance with HR policies. This role provides an opportunity for individuals to gain valuable handson experience in human resources and contribute to the overall success of the HR function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts such as screening resumes scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
  • Participate in onboarding new employees including organizing orientations and preparing onboarding materials.
  • Support HR operations by maintaining employee records and ensuring data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Contribute to the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in coordinating training and development initiatives for employees.
  • Participate in the organization and execution of employee engagement activities and events.
  • Provide support in conducting research on various HR topics and best practices.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
  • Participate in the coordination of performance management processes.
  • Support the HR team in various administrative tasks such as filing documentation and correspondence.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide basic HRrelated support.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Participate in ad hoc HR projects and initiatives as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Pursuing or completed a degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated with a strong willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous HR or administrative experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of recruitment processes and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or HR software is an advantage.
  • Adaptable and open to taking on diverse responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of employee relations and employee engagement principles.
