This is a remote position.

Our Client is currently working with the state of California and leading state wide efforts on a multi-billion dollar program. We are looking to on-board Snowflake Technical Consultant to spearhead the build and maintenance of the technology infrastructure and associated eco-system primarily build on AWS, Snowflake, Business Intelligence tools, and a AI/ML driven Master Data Management (MDM) application.

What you will do:

• Use core Snowflake Datawarehouse build and deployment
  
• Spearhead data staging, transforming, and modeling.
  
• Work with AWS S3.
  
• Have hands on SQL or python skills for any adhoc programming required.
  
• Fully understand Data engineering
  
• Serve as a consultant to ensure technical and operational integrity of the modern cloud based technology ecosystem/architecture comprising of Okta SSO, AWS, Snowflake, MDM, and BI applications
  
• Collaborate security and privacy of the system of the technology ecosystem
  
• Lead systems analysis, programming, and automation of the Datawarehouse system
  
• Oversee management of technical resources and ensure that resources are optimally deployed with effective and efficient staffing and clear continuity for any staff transitions.
  
• Ensure technical team is adhering to Agile and iterative practices.
  
• Ensure technical staffing meets state requirements in terms of training.
  
• Ensure the hosting environment and technology components are configured consistent with security and privacy requirements.
  
• Oversee operational support and management of technical architecture and ensure service continuity and availability of system per SLAs.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications you must have:-

• Four Year College Degree from accredited University in Technology Domain
  
• 10 plus years of overall professional experience with focus on cloud infrastructure deployment.
  
• Minimum of 8 years of experience with AWS deployments, Snowflake Cloud data warehouse, MDM, & BI applications.
  
• Relevant certifications in AWS, Snowflake, Okta SSO, & MDM
  
• Expert level experience leading the design and implementation of N+1 tech stack set up with multiple instances of the solution (Development, Testing, QA, and Production)

• Security Engineer
  
• Solutions/Business Architect
  

Additional Nice to have Skills:

• Public Sector Experience (Federal or State)
  
• Experience working on large scale programs with budgets exceeding $1 Billion
