Our major insurance product lines include travel private medical dental home emergency gadget and many other home and motor ancillary products. We are one of the UKs largest travel insurance providers and work with many well known brands across the UK and EU.

Purpose of the Job:Develop and maintain the Risk Management function for our Solvency II Insurance Company. You will helpshape and implement our Risk Management framework collaborating with Actuarial Finance and Business teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee processes for risk identification measurement monitoring and reporting
• Embed a consistent risk management approach to capital management and risk appetite
• Conduct stress scenario and sensitivity tests of insurance risks as part of the ORSA process
• Manage the SII documentation library and provide comprehensive reporting to the Risk and Compliance Committee
• Promote an appropriate risk culture and collaborate with independent nonexec directors
• Work closely with Actuarial department to align risk and capital
• Collaborate with the European Insurance division

Knowledge Skills and Experience Required:Essential:

• Proven experience in developing risk management systems in a UKregulated Insurance Company
• Strong Risk Management experience particularly in Capital Financial and Underwriting risk
• Knowledge of Solvency II and stress/scenario framework design
• Ability to analyse technical information work independently and articulate complex concepts

Desirable:

• Experience working with personal lines insurance products
• Associate (or above) of Chartered Insurance Institute or qualified member of the Institute of Risk Management

Regulatory Responsibilities:

• Adhere to FCAs Conduct rules and the Firms code of conduct
• Undertake all regulatory training and report conflicts of interest
• Maintain fit and proper requirements hold a valid certificate and carry out duties with honesty and integrity

Person Specification: The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills be selfmotivated and possess a proven knowledge of SII requirements. They will collaborate effectively to enhance risk management processes and apply complex regulatory requirements to real business practices.
