The Media landscape is changing at a speed, like never before. While KaFe Rocks is extremely successful by creating outstanding SEO driven content websites, we constantly question the status quo.

The Head of Operations will assist the Chief Operations Officer in executing the company s strategy by continually working to improve the people, processes, and products that make up Kafe Rocks.

Intimately familiar with all aspects of affiliation, this role will allow you to create excellence within agile teams, shaping our structure and efficiency to produce a keen competitive edge.

You ll have responsibility for reviewing plans, determining priorities and resource allocation, as well as for achieving the milestones set by the company s strategic plans.

Tasks

Your key tasks:

  • Communicate expectations for products and verticals, assisting teams in planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing their contributions to the company s overall goals.
  • Prepare and complete action plans for specific milestones, working in harmony with multiple departments to achieve them.
  • Implement production and productivity standards and ensure they are maintained.
  • Resolve problems and roadblocks while maintaining the company s priorities.
  • Understand costs of delay, operating expenses, and business impact and be able to communicate these effectively to teams, as well as guide decision making processes.
  • Review and evaluate site metrics to make informed decisions and to lead meaningful discussions around product changes.
  • Coordinate different teams to foster the exchange of ideas and to facilitate cross-team learning opportunities.
  • Assess and analyse departmental budgets to optimise the impact of our spend on our company revenue.
  • Communicate with senior management about shifting company priorities and projects.
  • Raises and tracks issues and conflicts, removes barriers, resolves issues of medium complexity involving stakeholders and escalates to the appropriate level when required.
  • Find opportunities to expand or pivot in order to take advantage of changes in the market.
  • Oversees and reports on company metrics.

Requirements

  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication and organizing skills to coordinate project activities.
  • The ability to translate abstract strategies into concrete execution plans that are realistic.
  • Can work comfortably with details and time-sensitive issues in a fluid and high pressure environment.
  • Good decision-making skills and critical thinking ability.
  • Adaptability and can respond quickly to a shifting market and adjust initiatives and priorities accordingly.
  • Understanding of best practices in the planning and development of affiliate websites.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee and coordinate multiple projects at once.
  • Able to offer strategic input and liaise with senior management.
  • Ability to interpret product data as needed to set achievable goals.
  • Can demonstrate SEO knowledge and how SEO is important for the online affiliate industry.
  • At least 5 years experience in the igaming industry.
  • Experience as a product manager within the igaming industry is considered an asset.
  • An understanding of and commitment to the values and ethos of KaFe Rocks.
