Hardware Technician (f/m/d) - Data Centre

Your Tasks:

We are looking for you to support our approximately 150,000 server and network devices in our data centers. You can expect an exciting range of tasks, a dynamic field and a culture that values new ideas, initiative and the ability to cooperate. Your main tasks will include the following:

• Installation, support and repair of servers, blades, storages and network switches in our high-performance data centers in 3-shift operation.
• Actively optimizing the efficiency of our data center, through server moves, rebuilds and defragmentation measures.
• Monitor and independently repair our dedicated servers according to specified guidelines.
• Evaluating and advising on the selection of new IT components.
• Maintenance of our documentation and expansion of our knowledge database.

We Appreciate:

You can demonstrate training in the field of IT system electronics, specialist information technology for system integration or comparable hardware-related vocational training. Alternatively, you have already gained several years of experience in handling IT components and network devices in data centers. Ideally, you also bring with you:

• Solid hardware knowledge incl. practical experience and safe handling of sensitive, electronic equipment.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows as well as script programming and network technology.
• Enjoy working in a dynamic team with a high willingness to serve.
• Ability to work under pressure, reliability and a confident manner in stressful situations.
• Fluent communication in German and English.
• Class B driver's license is mandatory.
