Governance Officer

- In close coordination with the Chiefs and Heads of Units, establishes, for supervisor's review, a comprehensive governance framework based on ETIs; monitors and reviews their implementation ensuring alignment with UNWRA's overall policies and guidelines; follows up and liaises with Fields on non-adherence, including ensuring timeline for specific ETIs adherence.
- Ensures the availability of updated ETIs and the timely distribution of such to all Fields and raises queries thereon related to ETIs and coordinates required actions as appropriate.
- Involves relevant stakeholders in developing and implementing guidelines pertaining to the governance system; disseminates and clarifies relevant materials and best practices including lessons learned.
- Monitors the process of governance activities and coordinates governance training and workshops related to ETIs in order to keep abreast of developments regarding outcomes.
