What You Will Enjoy Working On

• Hire and manage the FinCrime Ops team who own processes such as Know Your Customer, Enhanced Due Diligence, Proof of Address, sanctions & PEPs screening, anti-fraud practices, and transaction monitoring
• Create and manage OKRs and KPIs for your team
• Be a supportive mentor and coach for your team in developing their success and career path
• Handle FinCrime-related escalations with professionalism, care, and expediency
• Own FinCrime-related risk and incident management
• Design, document, and enforce policies to safeguard our customers, our employees, and our business
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payments compliance and risk management (your level/title will be based on your prior experience)
• Minimum 2 years of people management experience, especially in building a new remote team
• Experience with Know Your Customer regulations, Anti-Money Laundering, sanctions screening, and the credit card industry.
• Experience with reporting requirements for regulated financial institutions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Data-driven and have a structured approach to solving problems
• Uphold a service-oriented mindset when working with internal and external teams
• Willing to put in extra hours during our busy periods
• Able to work in an extremely fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and accuracy
