This is an opportunity to shape the trajectory of peaq in a big way peaq is a borderless global network for the people that use it by the people that use it As Global Community Lead your overarching task is to guide the handover of peaq from being teamrun to communityrun This will demand creativity initiative and an exceptional ability to engage and empower people from all over the world Your role will involve not only fostering a strong sense of community and ownership but also developing and implementing strategies that encourage active participation and collaboration

Things you will do

• Youll be responsible for peaqs global community strategy from setting it to seeing that its executed in accordance with peaqs goals
• Growing peaqs global community to reach all four corners of the globe all major languages and beyond
• Building the peaq community team consisting of community leads across the world both internally and externally
• Setting the standards for the way the peaq community behaves and interacts with peaqs mission and vision in mind
• Youll be responsible for ensuring we hit our targets in terms of community growth and engagement
• Collaborating with teams across the peaq ecosystem to create cohesive campaigns and events that will drive engagement within the community
• Educating the peaq community team and the peaq community as a whole
• Youll be responsible for peaqs Discord and Telegram strategies and health
• Cultivating and managing relationships with key community members influencers and partners
• Working closely with the Product Engineering and Communications teams to write and share critical information
• Creating systems for the team to gather learn from and implement from community feedback in a timely manner
• Monitoring and measuring community engagement and reporting on key performance indicators
• Staying uptodate with industry trends and the latest developments in web
• Empowering and growing the peaq supporters and evangelists around a common vision
• Finding ways to unlock and incentivize creativity and participation among the community by creating the appropriate systems rules (or lack thereof) and rewards
• Empowering a team of Community Builders and Ambassadors across different time zones
• Understanding and playing off the dynamics of the crypto community hot topics and trends to guide the community
• Planning organizing and executing communityfacing content calendar and marketing campaigns across peaqs Social Media and community platforms

What you bring to the table

• Seasoned community builder with experience leading global teams of community leads for a leading Web project ideally a layer or layer
• years of experience in community management/leadership of Web projects
• Youve led communities of hundreds of thousands of people
• Youve scaled communities into the millions
• Youre a cryptonative
• Clear communication attention to detail and strong work ethic
• Strong familiarity with Web passionate about crypto and decentralization
• Organized and able to convey clearly how peaq is progressing
• Great communication skills written and verbal
• Proven work experience in community management in either US Asia Europe or Latam The more the merrier

• Comfortable working in an emerging ecosystem
• Youve launched and/or run an Ambassador Program
• Youre multilingual
• Publicfacing social media profiles which you can leverage as part of taking on this role
