Overview:
The Global Business Services (GBS) Manager is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction operations and continuous improvement of the organizations global business services. This role plays a critical part in driving efficiency standardization and service excellence across various functions and geographies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales pipeline and independently develop proposals related to finance multifunction Global Business Services (GBS) and Operating Model design to implementation
- Lead intelligent client conversations to drive Operating Model GBS and Shared Services engagements across clients
- Work with leading global clients to deliver projects related to endtoend Operating Model GBS design Shared Services Location study and assessment design and blueprint implementation including transition.
- Experience in process maturity assessment and transformation across finance processes like OTC AP and RTR
- Ability to manage project execution and manage client conversations during assessment design implementation and status reporting
- Lead the problem solution design and implementation ensuring high quality and adhering to the timelines and defined budget.
- Define cost transformation/savings initiatives create value cases set up mechanisms to control and monitor savings; and create implementation plans.
- Ability to drive largescale Project Management and Change management initiatives during the life cycle of the project
- Ability to shape pointofview and differentiated assets to augment business scenarios and models GBS blueprint solutions location assessment models transition toolkits etc.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in business administration finance or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Proven experience 8 years in a global business services leadership role with a strong track record of delivering operational excellence.
- Demonstrated expertise in change management driving transformations and leading large teams in a global environment.
- Strong understanding of shared services outsourcing and captive operations models.
- Exceptional leadership interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of process optimization lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align GBS objectives with broader business goals.
- Experience in driving technology adoption and digital transformation within GBS functions.
- Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and build strong crossfunctional relationships.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills are needed to drive datadriven decisionmaking and performance improvements.
