Furnace Operator

Company Overview:

Our client a leading manufacturing company in the metal and kitchenware industry specializing in the production of highquality products for both domestic and commercial markets is seeking to hire a Furnace Operator who will be responsible for operating and maintaining our industrial furnaces used in the production of metal products. they will play a critical role in ensuring that the furnaces operate efficiently consistently meeting production goals while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate industrial furnaces to melt and heat metals to specified temperatures.
  
• Monitor furnace temperature pressure and other parameters to ensure optimal performance.
  
• Load raw materials into the furnace and unload finished products.
  
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  
• Perform routine maintenance on furnaces and associated equipment.
  
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor operational issues to minimize downtime.
  
• Collaborate with production and quality control teams to meet production targets and ensure product quality.
  
• Maintain accurate records of furnace operations including temperature logs production output and maintenance activities.
  
• Adhere to all company policies procedures and regulations.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification is a plus.
  
• Proven experience as a Furnace Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment preferably in the metal industry.
  
• Strong understanding of furnace operations and associated equipment.
  
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and follow SOPs.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  
• Strong problemsolving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  
• Willingness to work in a physically demanding environment and follow safety guidelines.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with specific furnace models and brands used in metal manufacturing.
  
• Certification in furnace operation or related field.
  
• Familiarity with quality control processes in a manufacturing setting.
  

Working Conditions:

This position operates in a manufacturing environment where adherence to safety protocols and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory. The Circle circlecutting operator may be required to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy materials.
