Financial Analyst (f/m/d)

As Financial Analyst you will play a vital role in running our end-to-end global sales commissions plan: from modeling the impact of our annual compensation plan on our monthly financials and forecasts, to orchestrating the monthly commissions calculations (tool-based). Next to that, you will also work closely alongside our FP&A manager to support our KPI reporting.

This is a business-oriented role where you will be working both hands-on as well as strategic with great exposure to various colleagues and leaders from the Finance and Sales department. You will gaining a deep understanding, from a financial point of view, of our business model, customer contract structure and related sales incentives. This offers a great opportunity for you to influence, develop and grow your own role as well as within LeanIX. The role reports to the Director Finance & Controlling based in Bonn.

WHAT IS WAITING FOR YOU?

• Run our global sales commissions plans by using a leading sales commission software (Spiff): from creating compensations plans to monitor monthly tool-based commissions calculations and reporting final commissions numbers to Payroll and Accounting.
• Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Operations teams in translating business needs into effective commissions plans that are aligned with the company s financial strategy.
• Work with the Accounting and FP&A team to explain and analyze how sales commissions impact historic and future financial statements.
• Become our champion in using Spiff and designing / adapting commissions plans in the system
• Actively work with other members of the FP&A team on our set of SaaS KPIs around ARR, Bookings and Retention.
• Support our Sales and Revenue Operations teams in questions around how certain quotes and customer contract structures translate into KPIs and commissions.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor s or Master s degree in Finance, Controlling, Accounting or other relevant field and a couple of years working experience in a financial analyst, financial controller or related job
• Excellent financial and analytical skills, combined with a data driven approach
• Having worked with Sales teams and / or on commissions topics in a (SaaS-) Start-up is a great plus
• We fail fast and learn faster together. You are highly adaptive and able to operate comfortable in a fast-paced international scale-up environment where you live and act in a climate of change
• Ability to work independently and take full ownership of your own work as well as be a team player
• Interest in becoming the go-to-person for Spiff and learning how to design commissions plans in the tool yourself
• Good verbal and written English skills, German skills is a plus
