Finance Manager

For this Finance Manager position you will report directly to the Managing Director and will be the full finance function (standalone) for two separate companies.

Some of the key responsibilities for this successful person would be but no limited to:

Ownership of monthly management accounts incl. work in progress calculations

depreciation accruals and prepayments

Provide variance analysis and full summary and breakdown for the Directors

Responsible for CIS returns and yearend accounts and VAT returns

Compile weekly management information for the Managing Director and management team incl. performance in key performance indicators

Updated rolling weekly cashflow forecasts

Completed weekly and monthly payroll for 25 employees

Requirements

The successful Management Accountant will be/have:

Part or Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/Equivalent)

Proven experience working in a standalone finance position or comfortable reporting directly into a Managing Director and management team

Great if you have Manufacturing industry experience however we are OPEN on industry

Strong management accounting experience

Competent analysis and reporting skills and adept with making the numbers seem meaningful for decisionmaking

Ability to work within a reasonably paced environment

Strong team player and happy working in an autonomous position

Comfortable using Cloud based accounting software and ERP system
