- Work on continuously improving Finance set-up in the Country offices; Finance Development and Harmonization: Comply with all Finance Harmonization requirements from WUSC Headquarters.
- Validate & Verify that all systems of receipts/invoices comply with WUSC policy: correctly filled and they are eligible for WUSC accountancy and applying random checks/audit and apply corrective action in cases of deviation.
- Ensure the segregation of duties & access control System among the Finance Team.
- Final checking of all records, according to WUSC and donors’ procedures.
- Support the Country Directors and project staff in the preparation and monitoring of the annual budget.
- Develop and monitor the offices monthly cash flow statements and ensure that cash flow requirements are met at all times.
- Ensure that the Chart of Accounts in accounting software are maintained and aligned with that of WUSC project accounts.
