- Prepare the set for filming.
- Print and hand out scripts.
- Prevent pedestrians from entering the set.
- Deliver messages to various crew members.
- Help create and adhere to production budgets.
- Run errands for crew members.
- ensuring that health and safety regulations are met
- determining quality control standards
- overseeing production processes
- re-negotiating timescales or schedules as necessary
- selecting, ordering and purchasing materials
- organising the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment
