Job Description:
- Looking for an IMAC technician with minimum 1year experienced preferred.
- This is an excellent opportunity for a junior technician looking for some outstanding IMAC experience.
- Candidate will join an experienced small team of IMAC technicians.
- The team are responsible for refreshing Dell Lenovo & Panasonic assets within the MB Hydro environment.
- The IMAC team are responsible for imaging and deploying all new laptops PCs monitors plus accessories throughout the Hydro environment.
- The team are based out of the Hydro headoffice at 360 Portage Ave. but they also support locations throughout Winnipeg which means the candidate must operate a reliable vehicle and have a valid drivers license.
- The candidate must be familiar with industry leading desktop/laptop hardware and must be skilled and experienced with the Microsoft Operating System environment.
- The candidate must have excellent customerfacing skills.
- The IMAC techs are responsible for refreshing user assets and ensuring that the enduser is completely satisfied upon completion.
- Maintains analyzes troubleshoots and repairs computer systems hardware and computer peripherals.
- Documents maintains upgrades or replaces hardware and software systems.
- Supports and maintains user account information including rights security and systems groups.
- Trains employees identifies analyzes and repairs product failures orders and replaces parts as needed.
- Determines and recommends which products or services best fit the customers needs.
- May require an associates degree or its equivalent.
- Requires at least 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
- Expert with a variety of the fields concepts practices and procedures.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Performs a variety of complicated tasks.
- May lead and direct the work of others.
- Typically reports to a project leader or manager.
- A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
