Fabrication Engineer

Job Description

• Supervise the accurate running of the production process according to the production plan.
• Perform duties as requested by the fabrication manager.
• Work in shop floor excellence and applying knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products.
• Manage all communication with supervisors and technicians and provide support to all teams and ensure the efficiency of all fabrication processes and resolve all issues for processes.
• Manage and reconcile all work orders with Plan all materials for new products and ensure optimal utilization of all resources and administer product orders and ensure compliance to all timeframe for all fabricated products.
• Assist the department manager in following up on external sites.
• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.

Job Requirements

• B.Sc. in production engineering and mechanical design.
• 1 – 3 Years of experience in fabrication or any related field.
• Knowledge of basic welding technology.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate people to achieve their targets.
• Fast learner, with strong analytical skills and a will to learn new things.
• English is a must, written and verbal.
• Excellent computer skills, Office package (word, excel, PowerPoint, etc...).
