1. Develop and implement export strategies to maximize profits and minimize costs
2. Oversee the preparation of export documentation such as invoices packing lists and bills of lading
3. Establish and manage relationships with international partners including distributors agents and vendors
4. Monitor international regulations and compliance requirements
5. Negotiate shipping contracts and freight forwarding agreements
6. Liaise with customs authorities and other government bodies to ensure compliance with regulations
7. Develop and maintain export databases records and reports
8. Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer feedback
9. Address customer inquiries and complaints
10. Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize export operations
11. Seek out and manage new opportunities such as trade and networking events
12. Coordinate client visits and sales trips
Proven experience in export business preferably in the same industry
Thorough knowledge of foreign trade regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent knowledge of market data and dynamics
Strong negotiation and problemsolving skills
Ability to travel abroad to meet with clients and develop business relationships
