ERP Technical Specialist

Job Responsibilities

• Provide ERP and other related software applications day to day support, including resolving user issues and troubleshooting technical problems.
• Manage and maintain data within the ERP system and related software applications, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Assist in configuring the ERP system and related software applications to meet the organization's specific needs and requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate the ERP system with other software applications, databases, and systems.
• Implement and maintain security measures within the ERP system to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with data protection regulations.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, changes, and processes to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the organization.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues, errors, and bugs in the ERP system, often in collaboration with the vendor's technical support.
• Act as a point of contact between the organization and the ERP vendor, communicating issues, requirements, and collaborating on solutions.
• Manage user access rights and permissions within the ERP system and related software applications. As per the internal system access policies.
• Assist with ERP and software applications-related projects, such as upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations.

  Job Requirements

• Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable. Specific experience with SAP is a significant advantage.
• High-level knowledge in relevant programming languages, and databases, as well as an understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system administration.
• Experience with data analysis, data cleansing, and data migration in the context of ERP systems.
• Demonstrated experience in providing end-user support and training, creating user manuals, and conducting training sessions.
• Familiarity with configuring ERP systems to meet specific business needs.
• The ability to troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions, often in collaboration with vendor support.
• A willingness and ability to stay updated with the latest ERP system features and technologies.
• B.A Degree in Management Information Systems, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science or related fields, Logistics Sciences or related fields.
