Environmental Specialist

Job Brief:

We are seeking a skilled environmental specialist to join our dynamic team. In this position you will be in charge of conducting field inspections developing employee training programs creating detailed reports and analyzing test samples.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee field examinations and report any dangerous places or materials.
• Maintain management information systems for locating hazardous areas inventorying chemicals and investigating complaints.
• Create and offer strategies for eliminating pollution and environmental hazards.
• Develop and administer successful employee training programs.
• Gather and evaluate test samples of food soil water and air.
• Conduct study and present your findings about current environmental conditions.
• Prepare clear and detailed written reports on field inspections.
• Implement spill protection measures and hazardous waste regulations.

Skills Required:

• Bachelors degree in environmental science or a related discipline.
• A minimum of two years experience in a similar role.
• Detailed understanding of regulatory standards interpretations and health and safety initiatives.
• Ability to settle problems swiftly using advanced dispute resolution skills.
• Excellent written and spoken communication abilities.
