Responsibilities

• Plan prepare and deliver engaging English lessons for students in accordance with the schools curriculum
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that supports the educational and emotional development of students
• Assess students progress and provide constructive feedback to drive their academic achievement
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and school staff to enhance the overall teaching and learning experience
• Effectively manage classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive environment for students
• Communicate regularly with parents and other stakeholders to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns
• Stay uptodate with developments in English teaching strategies and methodologies to enhance teaching practices

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Education or a related field
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
• Proven experience teaching English to primary or secondary school students
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the English curriculum and its requirements
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create an engaging learning environment
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues parents and students
• Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities and learning styles
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and improvement in teaching practice
