- Creating electronic product specifications and designs in CAD and SolidWorks
- Discovering and designing electronic products improvement opportunities
- Working with IoT
- Helping create IoT in devices
- Working with consumer electronics products that could save lives
- Participating in the discussions about the direction the company should go with products
- Collaborating with a team of test lab engineers mechanical engineers technicians and product development engineers
- Collaborating with attorneys if something is already patented
- Aiding in the patent process
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- A fouryear electrical engineering degree
- Two or more years of consumer products experience
- One or more years of Printed Circuit Board Assembly exposure
- One or more years of IoT exposure
- Knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility and Electromagnetic Interference
- Knowledge of Radio Frequency and wireless communication
- Some EDA Tool experience for Printed Circuit Board Assembly
- A solid work history
- A US citizen or possess a green card
- A residence within 45 minutes
