WHO ARE WE HIRING?

We are looking for an Electronics Engineerfor our smart cities solutions. As an Electronics Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing efficient and reliable hardware solutions to meet the demands of our IoT products (controls & power) as they scale and expand.


WHAT WILL YOU DO

  • Design and develop power conversion electronics circuits and solutions for IoT devices in a scaled IoT market, ensuring optimal power conversion efficiency, quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand requirements and design power architectures for IoT products.
  • Design and layout PCBAs, ensuring adherence to industry standards, best practices, and manufacturability.
  • Conduct analysis, simulations, and modelling to optimize performances and ensure compatibility with hardware specifications.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth transition from design to production, addressing any power-related issues during the manufacturing process.
  • Serve as a technical reference and provide support to various departments, by addressing their technical inquiries and assisting with problem-solving.
  • Be the technical key contact persons with our design and/or manufacturing partners to secure effective and high quality deliveries while keeping full ownership of the technical solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including application notes, product specifications, user manuals, and other relevant materials.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications in power electronics are a plus;
  • Strong understanding of power electronics principles, including AC/DC power conversion architecture (flyback, resonant, …) , circuit design, and control techniques (analogue & digital).
  • Proven experience in electronics design, with a focus on developing power conversion & regulation solutions being delivered to the market at scale.
  • Experience in PCBA design and layout for power electronics, preferably using Altium CAD tool.
  • Experience with EMC and electrical safety compliances applied to AC/DC power supplies
  • Experience in LED lighting technology is definitely a strong asset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written in both native and English languages.
  • Rigorous and organized soft skills to properly structure documentations and tasks execution.
