  Job Summary ☀️⚡

  A solar + storage EPC with plans for market domination in the C&I sector is seeking an expert Electrical Engineer to join their team and help them achieve their goals.

  As the Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be the transformers technical expert for their projects. You will provide expertise on transformers and other aspects of the project to all key stakeholders to ensure successful design, procurement, and installation.

  You will be responsible for:

• Leading all technical aspects of utility coordination, including line drawings, plan and elevation drawings, site layout, relay protection and control requirements, and grounding systems
• Supporting equipment sourcing efforts, value engineering, planning & tracking project design reviews, quality control/quality assurance, and contractor management
• Providing oversight and reviews of deliverables in the proposal/bid phase, including conceptual design engineering and BOM, preparing proposal technical specifications, developing assumptions, clarifications, and exceptions, and sourcing for vendor quotations
• Coordinating with operations team members for final commissioning
• Creating and maintaining Excel calculators, design standards, and best practices for electrical system design

• Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in electrical design of solar projects
• Experience with power transformers, effective grounding, and interconnection
• Knowledge of IEEE and SKM
