EDI Consultant

We are looking for an EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) Consultant to join our team and help streamline our business processes through the implementation and management of electronic data interchange systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of EDI standards protocols and technologies as well as experience in integrating EDI solutions with various business systems.

Responsibilities:

Consult with business responsible to understand their requirements and recommend appropriate EDI modifications.

Develop maintain and implement EDI modifications to facilitate the exchange of electronic data between trading partners. Seeburger solution preferred but not mandatory.

Configure and customize EDI software applications to meet client specifications and business needs.

Test EDI transactions to ensure accuracy reliability and compliance with industry standards.

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for EDI systems troubleshooting issues and resolving errors as needed.

Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless integration of EDI systems with existing business processes.

Stay current with industry trends and best practices in EDI technology and standards.

Train endusers on EDI processes and procedures as needed.

Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.

Proven experience (23 years) working as an EDI Consultant or in a similar role.

Indepth knowledge of EDI standards

Handson experience with EDI software applications such as Seeburger B2B r Gentran IBM or similar.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal stakeholders.

Certification in EDI (e.g. Certified EDI Professional) is a plus.
