1. Implement and configure Microsoft Purview to discover classify and map data across the organizations environment.
2. Define and maintain data classification and labeling policies based on business and regulatory requirements.
3. Manage data access controls and rights management to prevent unauthorized access and data leakage.
4. Collaborate with business units to understand data protection needs and ensure the appropriate protection and handling of sensitive data.
5. Monitor and report on data protection activities including data usage access patterns and potential security incidents.
6. Develop and implement data retention and disposition policies to ensure compliance with retention requirements and relevant regulations.
7. Work with legal and compliance teams to respond to data protection inquiries audits and incidents.
8. Stay updated on the latest data protection regulations and best practices to ensure the organizations data protection policies remain current and effective.
9. Provide training and support to end users on data protection best practices tools and policies.
