What youll be doing:

As our Tax Director youll dive into the exciting world of accounting finance and wealth management and lead the charge on all taxrelated matters.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Take charge of overseeing the tax department directing tax planning compliance and advisory services for individuals businesses and organizations.
2. Formulate and execute tax strategies aimed at reducing tax liabilities and enhancing financial outcomes for clients.
3. Offer specialized expertise and counsel on intricate tax matters such as mergers and acquisitions international taxation state and local tax issues and tax disputes.
4. Remain abreast of changes in tax laws regulations and industry dynamics providing informed guidance to clients while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
5. Foster enduring client partnerships by acting as a reliable advisor and delivering unparalleled client support.
6. Lead and nurture tax personnel furnishing them with training mentorship and encouragement to foster their professional advancement.
7. Engage in collaborative efforts with other firm departments and teams to furnish comprehensive solutions aligned with overarching business goals.
8. Engage actively in business expansion endeavors including networking client consultations and proposal crafting to attract new clientele and broaden service offerings.

What were looking for:

1. A track record of 7 years of advancing experience in tax accounting including a minimum of 3 years in a managerial or leadership capacity.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in federal state and local tax laws and regulations.
3. Handson involvement in tax planning compliance and advisory services for diverse clientele encompassing individuals businesses and organizations.
4. Strong aptitude for analysis problemsolving and decisive decisionmaking.
5. Established leadership competencies with a talent for inspiring and effectively managing teams.
6. Outstanding communication interpersonal and client relationshipbuilding proficiencies.
7. Capacity to excel in a dynamic fastpaced setting while adeptly managing multiple priorities.
8. Proficient utilization of tax software and Microsoft Office Suite.
9. Possession of a Bachelors degree in accounting finance or a related field; CPA certification is desirable.
