We are seeking a Director of Facilities to support a global campus dining services program in Atlanta GA.
This is an onsite role open to local candidates.
Job Summary:
The Director of Facilities Operations is responsible for directing facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single unit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manages the preventative maintenance and reactive repair of skilled trades such as HVAC plumbing electrical utilities.
- Manages hiring training and supervision of staff professionals and management.
- Promotes a safe and efficient work environment.
- May oversee construction work and often manages other core company services and logistics of business operations such as grounds keeping laundry food security inventory mail and concierge services.
Requirements
Education:
- BS degree or equivalent experience
Required:
- 5 years of management and functional experience
- Experience at the Director level at a university
- Experience working on a college campus or other large complex properties with integrated facilities management.
- Experience in Clientpartner relationships and deferred maintenance
Preferred:
- Strong technical knowledge of the following: mechanical electrical plumbing HVAC safety systems landscape and energy management systems
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen with a strong P&L understanding
- OSHA #10 or OSHA #30 certification
- Facilities Manager certification (CFM)
- Synthetic Turf experience
