We are a global Blockchain, AI and Crypto consulting firm with multiple solutions for our clients including Marketing & PR, Media House, Staffing & Recruitment, Events among others. The Global Blockchain Show is a launch event under the VAP Group umbrella.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in creating and executing successful event marketing strategies, driving brand awareness, and delivering measurable results. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for creating memorable event experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement comprehensive event marketing strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall marketing and business goals.

Event Promotion:
- Create and execute integrated marketing campaigns to promote events through various channels, including digital, social media, email, and traditional media.
- Develop compelling messaging and collateral to drive attendance and engagement.
- Implement targeted promotional initiatives to reach key demographics.

Brand Building:
- Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all event-related materials and communications.
- Work closely with the creative team to develop impactful branding elements for events.
- Establish and maintain relationships with media partners to enhance brand visibility.

Lead Generation:
- Develop and implement lead generation strategies tied to events.
- Collaborate with sales teams to align event marketing efforts with lead generation and conversion goals.
- Utilise data analytics to track and optimise lead generation efforts.

Event Execution:
- Oversee the end-to-end execution of marketing plans for each event.
- Collaborate with event management teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing efforts into the overall event strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.

Budget Management:
- Develop and manage the event marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Track expenses and provide regular reports on budget performance.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Events Marketing Director or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of event marketing strategies and best practices.
- Exceptional leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and metrics to make informed decisions.
- Creative thinker with a keen eye for detail.
- Proficient in using marketing tools and platforms.
