Managed Services is the delivery and execution business within PwC, providing operational solutions for clients. It brings the best of PwC’s advisory capabilities, our technology expertise and our operational delivery to help clients solve complex problems.

The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing resource planning and optimization to ensure the successful execution of Managed Services projects. This role involves identifying the skill set requirements and navigating the optimal delivery model across the Managed Services delivery ecosystem to meet client needs while managing the process of transitioning activities from solution design into production.

Daily Tasks And Delivery Expectation

  • Works closely with the broader Solutioning team to identify skill set requirements for Managed Services
  • Designs delivery team structures to optimize Managed Service delivery
  • Develops and implements resource planning strategies to match project demands with available talent within the Managed Services team
  • Oversees the planning of resources for projects based on skills, expertise, and project requirements
  • Collaborates with key stakeholders to understand project resource requirements and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Ensures effective transition of activities from solutioning into delivery centers in coordination with key stakeholders
  • Maintains open communication with stakeholders to address resource-related challenges and opportunities
  • Acts as a key liaison point between the proposition leads and delivery centers to ensure talent is developed to meet demand
  • Fosters a culture of innovation and optimization within the team to drive the best delivery solutions for our clients
