Data Scientist AI Machine Learning Engineer

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate on the development and enhancement of machine learning models including the creation of new models.
• Assist in transitioning our existing hive infrastructure to a Pythonbased API.
• Support smaller data science tasks for productrelated initiatives.
• Assist with backend tasks including shop connections and optimizing data warehouse backends.
• Utilize language models for natural language processing (NLP) and potentially vision models with a focus on NLP being more critical.
• Work on projects involving visual transformers with proficiency in the basics being desirable.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of AI concepts and principles.
• Manage SQL databases and possess experience with warehousing (beneficial but not mandatory).
• Possess basic knowledge of libraries such as SciPy NumPy Scikitlearn and either PyTorch or TensorFlow with experience in PyTorch Lightning being highly desirable.
• Debug training processes using tools like TensorBoard and apply research findings to practical implementations.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis and visualization tasks.
• Utilize Jupyter Notebook/Lab for code development and experimentation.
• Potentially function as a mergeposition handling overlapping tasks within the team.

Your qualifications

• Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science Engineering Mathematics or related field.
• Proven experience in machine learning model development and deployment.
• Proficiency in Python programming and its relevant libraries and frameworks.
• Strong understanding of data structures algorithms and statistical methods.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with Spark for handling largescale data processing.
• Knowledge of R is a plus but proficiency in Python is prioritized.
