Job Description

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Collaborate closely and assist with colleagues in completing the M&E tasks
  • Acts as a liaison between the SI unit and other units particularly relevant to collecting data needed by the M&E unit for indicator development.
  • Enter the program data into the database when needed
  • Prepare data for entry into databases, participate in the data entry and establish data entry priorities and procedures.
  • Conduct routine quality checks on data to ensure data integrity.
  • Follow up and send reminders of the data collection tools and verification sources of the indicators
  • Maintain all data-related files (hard and soft copies) in appropriate filing systems.
  • Assist in developing the suitable data collection & monitoring tools and checklists to be used in different units’ activities
  • Travel and undergo field monitoring visits (when applicable) to training sites in different governorates to make sure the agreed-upon data collection tools are standardized and used appropriately
  • Conduct awareness sessions (if needed) to the governorates’ project managers/admins to ensure their proper use of data collection & other tools as required by the SI unit
  • Orient the SBCC /SD admin staff on the flow of data and data collection
  • Provide support to the M&E unit by following up any missing data/records related to training or other activities particularly those related to the reported indicators.
  • Organize meetings as required with the support officers of other units when facing non-compliance to the data collection
  • Report to the M&E Manager in a timely manner on any challenges related to data collection
  • Provide support to reporting and other deliverables to ensure they are ready on time.
  • Take meeting minutes and circulate notes and/or action items after meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned within the capacity of his/her field of profession

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor degree is required.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems, processes and procedures and adapt local practices to global standards.
  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.
  • Computer and graphics skills a must (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, other data visualization tools).
  • Ability to be detailed-oriented and consistently accurate
  • Ability to file and maintain documents/records.
  • Ability to work across all units and have good relationship with colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently as well as an effective member of the team
  • Ability to manage stress effectively in a fast-paced environment,
  • Familiarity with administrative duties.
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  • Written and spoken English and Arabic required
