Job Description

- Work with Senior Management and Departmental leads on identifying key requirements and considerations for data structures with their teams;
- Develop a plan for Access Control Lists (ACLs) to be applied for departments and program teams;
- Review and understand Mercy Corps’ policies for Document Retention, including the Mercy Corps Finance Manual, Program Management () Policies. Program Performance & Quality Data Management, etc.;
- Work with Mercy Corps departments and units to create Mercy Corps file structure and systems to reduce redundancy, ensure quality of filing system and availability of data;
- Audit existing data structures, including local shared drives, current cloud drive solutions (Google Drive) and local document storage on individual computers and phones, to identify issues and areas for improvement and location of storage; and
- Create documented procedures and guidelines to outline Mercy Corps Syria’s file structure and to manage access permissions.
