Data Entry and Word Processing

Job Description Template:

Tryfacta is seeking a Data Entry and Word Processing for our client in Albany NY 12223. This is a temporary contract assignment. If you meet the qualifications listed below and are interested please Apply Now!

Highlights:

Position Title: Data Entry and Word Processing

Location: Albany NY 12223

Duration: 12 Months

Work Schedule: MF 8:30AM4:30PM

Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Provide technical assistance to the Director Statistical Unit and staff;
  • Answer the telephone field questions from system users and/or refer callers to subject matter experts;
  • Enter data into the Communicable Disease Electronic Surveillance System including but not limited to all influenza cases and other vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs);
  • Transfer laboratory information from the Electronic Communicable Laboratory Reporting System (ECLRS) to CDESS;
  • Perform tasks associated with mailings or faxes to system users including registration forms or other informational materials;
  • Support providers and school users looking to set up new accounts for use of the online New York State Immunization Information System (NYSIIS);
  • Answer the telephone and perform searches in NYSIIS to locate individuals immunization records. Process and send back records in a confidential manner.

To be considered for this position you should have: Skills Education or Experience

  • Experience with personal computers including experience using Microsoft Office applications (Word Excel Access and Outlook); general office experience; proofreading skills and attention to detail; excellent communication skills including telephone skills and customer service; ability to work independently and prioritize work load.
