Job Description
- Annually renewable contract with good chance of extension
- We are looking for a Data Integration & Data Engineer with the desire and skills to lead data technology evaluations, introduce new technologies (architect support, S&C, business training, etc.), integrate systems/platforms and provide 3rd level support/consultation for existing data applications/platforms.
Requirements
Responsibilities
- The candidate should be able to work with business organizations and Solution Architects to evaluate technologies that meet business needs.
- They will be responsible for designing and implementing the configuration and/or HW/SW components to certify and introduce the technology in the corporation.
- They will define support processes for operations groups that are consistent with XOM S&C and transition support to the defined organizations.
- These data technologies can be either On-Prem or Cloud.
- The group is also responsible for consultation on issue resolution upon escalation, supported systems include Qlik Replicate, Apache NIFI, ETL/ELT, Five Tran, Snowflake etc.
Primary Skills
- Strong knowledge in SQL and data warehouse concepts
- Develop Data Integration and ETL/ELT solutions
- DataBase knowledge (Oracle, SQL, SAP Hana), Platform knowledge (Windows and Linux)
Nice to Have Skills
- Snowflake
- Cloud fundamentals (Azure - ADF and AWS) ETL/ELT
- DevOps fundamentals
- Business Intelligence tools (preferred Tableau or Power BI)
