We are seeking an Enterprise Infrastructure Architect to oversee the companys enterprise compute and storage strategies. This includes planning budgeting and precuring the right infrastructures for the right platforms and applications. Youll be overlooking the technology and defining the roadmaps for each specific environment in the enterprise infrastructure. Enterprise infrastructure will include the server farm onprem cloud storage systems AI environment and backup and archive environments.

The position will also include financial duties like budgeting and calculating TCO/ROI for the planned procurement projects. Furthermore supervising each procurement deployment with operation teams.

Finally you will act as consultant to the organization by continuously researching and studying the latest trends and issues. You will drive enterprise organizational alignment to ensure successful enterprise infrastructure roadmaps adoption security governance and risk management is adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Define the enterprise infrastructure strategy and roadmap
  • Work on requirements gathering capacity planning and workloads forecasting
  • Analyze and optimize the production applications
  • Handle the infrastructure budgeting and financials
  • Handle the infrastructure architecting
  • Plan execute and manage hardware and appliances procurements projects
  • Work with operation teams on the resource utilization and chargeback modules
  • Work with leading OEMs and technology providers
  • Define and drive PoC initiatives with endusers and technical teams
  • Work and collaborate with multiple teams
  • Consistently looking for the new technology trends in CPU GPU cloud solutions and storage services

Minimum Requirements:

  • As a successful candidate you will hold a Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science or similar
  • You will have a deep knowledge in cloud native applications and container orchestration solutions OpenShift DevOps VMware MLOps and CI/CD and storage system and NFS SMB iSCSI and S3 protocols
  • You will also have 15 years experience in infrastructure budgeting and TCO/ROI calculations backup and archive solutions and data centers and facility requirements
  • Willing to Relocate to Saudi Arabia
  • Currently Living/Working in Australia or New Zealand

  • Shortterm Disability: In the event you are unable to work due to illness or injury shortterm disability income benefits are provided. The benefit is 30 days full pay and 60 days at threequarters pay in any one year period.
  • Death Benefit: Company pays an exgratia death benefit equal to 24 months base pay if death is from an industrial accident and 12 months base pay if death is nonindustrial related.
