We are looking for a detailed focused and passionate Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The Data Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing data, building models, and providing insights to support risk management decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze large sets of data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
Develop statistical models and algorithms to predict and assess risks.
Work closely with risk management teams to understand their data needs and provide analytical support.
Create reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Conduct thorough assessments of model performance and propose improvements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to risk management.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in risk analytics and modeling.
Collaborate and coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement risk management strategies.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, economics, or a related field. Master's or Ph.D. preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience in data analysis or risk management, preferably in the financial industry.
Strong proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as R or Python.
Experience building and validating statistical models and algorithms.
Knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and regulations.
Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using SQL or other data manipulation languages.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
