About the job
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cyber Security Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of professional experience in the field of cybersecurity. This position requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies. The Cyber Security Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and responding to security incidents.
Job Description:
- Monitor security systems and tools for potential security breaches or incidents during assigned shifts.
- Provide comprehensive shift handover to ensure continuity of security operations between shifts.
- Analyze security alerts and events to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Maintain accurate documentation of security incidents, investigations, and remediation activities.
- Generate regular reports on security metrics, trends, and performance indicators
- Propose new rules based on emerging threats.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field.
- Minimum of three years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, technologies, and best practices.
- Experience with security monitoring tools, SIEM solutions, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing platforms.
- Certifications are a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
