- Provide psychological assistance with the aim to improve the social and psychological functioning of children and their families, maximizing overall community well-being.
- Preparation and planning before conducting sessions
- Conduct assessments with beneficiaries seeking support and/or services from the center.
- Conduct direct therapeutic support for beneficiaries referred.
- Organize the development of initial care plan with focus on any immediate safety concerns.
- Enhance a collaborative relationship to maximize the child’s and family’s ability to make informed decisions.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management staff as required; contribute to donor reports and internal JOHUD reports as required.
- Conduct home visits if required.
- The implementation of the semi structured psychosocial support to refugees and vulnerable Jordanian children from local community
- Perform other job-related duties as requested by Supervisor.
