A Cookplans, prepares, and cooks food items to ensure the highest quality service and experience for customers. They help keep the kitchen organized and running efficiently. They ensure proper food handling, sanitation and following food storage procedures.
Requirements
Proficient in preparing ingredients, including cutting meat and chopping/peeling vegetables and fruits.
Manage time effectively when preparing and cooking food orders to minimize customer waiting time and increase kitchen efficiency.
Monitor food quality and ensure items are stored appropriately.
