The International Potato Center (CIP) seeks a proactive, responsible, and expert consultant in Economics, Agricultural Economics with strong quantitative modeling background to support the Marketing Intelligence and product profiling and the Excellence in Agronomy Initiative.
The Market Intelligence Initiative of the Genetic Innovations Science Area seeks to support evidence-based decision making to identify priority investments in breeding. The update includes adjusting the approach, methods, and tools, and expand where appropriate to include other outcomes beyond productivity effects to address social equity impacts by gender expanded and other vulnerable social groups.
The work proposes to address at least three major research opportunities in potatoes and sweet potatoes.
