Cloud Architect

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement cloud architecture solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Design and deploy scalable highly available and faulttolerant cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable cloud architecture designs.
• Implement and manage DevOps practices tools and technologies in the cloud environment.
• Ensure cloud infrastructure is secure compliant and adheres to best practices.
• Optimize cloud resources to ensure costeffectiveness and performance.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development and operations teams.
• Conduct research and evaluation of new cloud technologies and service providers.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance management activities.
• Lead and contribute to the development of cloud governance policies and best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and applications.
• Create and maintain documentation for cloud architecture and processes.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration of cloud solutions.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in cloud computing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role.
• Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS Azure Oracle Google Cloud).
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and technologies.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Indepth knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience in implementing cloud security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Ability to design and implement highavailability and disaster recovery solutions in the cloud.
• Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect or Google Professional Cloud Architect are a plus.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with serverless computing and microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and cloud migration strategies.
