Cloud Administrator

We are seeking a dynamic Cloud Administrator with a passion for learning ready to collaborate on innovative cloudbased solutions for our clients. Your role will involve not only crafting these solutions but also maintaining and ensuring their seamless functionality.

Our client fully specialized in Managed Cloud Hosting services. They are the first ones in Estonia who have achieved the Amazon Web Services APN Select Consulting Partner status. Client is a digital solutions agency that creates strategies that help our clients achieve their business goals by using the tools of the digital world.

Tasks

• Creating new and maintaining existing cloudbased solutions for our clients
• Clarifying project goals technical conditions and opportunities
• Developing specific server settings and related services in accordance with the requirements and possibilities of the project.
• Participating in operations support and weekly oncall rotation schedule.

Requirements

• Eager to get the latest Cloud Service Providers Newsletter to bring your knowledge up to date and test the newest practices
• Good knowledge of and at least 2 years of handson experience with AWS
• At least 1 year of experience with Terraform and/or CloudFormation
• Strong background in Linux Administration
• Strong experience in Apache/Nginx
• Experience with SQL ability to write SQL statements for troubleshooting purposes
• Experience with PHP basic understanding of the language and capability of comprehending the codes functionality. Ability to use essential debugging commands.
• Great written and verbal English skills because your position often requires close communication with the client
• Good time management skills
• You are reliable and keep your promises

Oncall duty is a part of this position. The team takes 7 day rotations being on call. This means that 1 person will be available 24// for any alarms that might occur and able to respond to them at any time. It doesnt mean that they have to be working 24/7 however they have to be near their smart phone or Computer and ready to respond if and when needed during a 7day period at a time.
Coming back to the fee. The whole monthly remuneration covers both regular work hours and the oncall duty.
