Chief Executive Officer

The CEO of the University of Utah Hospitals and Clinics is the senior executive responsible for ensuring that the entire system-wide clinical enterprise functions at the highest levels including delivering safe, high-quality patient care, efficient management of resources, smooth and efficient administrative services, implementation of strategic and operational plans, and adherence to budget targets. The CEO will work collaboratively with other University of Utah Health (U of U Health) clinical, operational and educational senior leaders to achieve its mission of patient care, education, research, and community service. The CEO UUHC will work closely with the Senior Vice President, Health Sciences/CEO of U of U Health to expand the current scope of the Health System, to develop new sites of service and new strategic partnerships, thus ensuring a robust Health System that is distinguished by offering outstanding patient care programs and strong financial performance.
