What we are looking for

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Carbon Associate to join our team. The Carbon Associate will play a key role in supporting our clients in measuring analyzing and mitigating their carbon emissions as well as identifying opportunities for carbon reduction and sustainability improvement.


What does the job involve

  • Collaborate with clients to develop carbon reduction strategies and action plans tailored to their specific needs and goals.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for carbon accounting reporting and verification ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
  • Support clients in implementing carbon offset projects and renewable energy initiatives to achieve carbon neutrality targets.
  • Conduct comprehensive carbon footprint assessments for clients
  • Analyze data and identify trends to assess the environmental impact of clients operations and activities.
  • Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports and communication materials to showcase clients environmental performance and achievements.
  • Stay informed about emerging trends technologies and regulations related to carbon management and sustainability and incorporate relevant insights into client solutions.
  • Engage with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources to deliver highquality services and solutions to clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients serving as a trusted advisor on carbon and sustainability matters.
  • Support business development efforts by participating in client meetings proposal development and thought leadership activities.


Qualifications

  • 3 years of experience in carbon management greenhouse gas accounting or sustainability consulting.
  • Proficiency in carbon accounting methodologies (e.g. GHG Protocol ISO 14064) and experience with carbon footprinting tools and software.
  • Knowledge of ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) principles and their relevance to sustainability and carbon management initiatives.
  • Knowledge of relevant sustainability standards regulations and reporting frameworks (e.g. CDP GRI TCFD).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful insights.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated project management experience including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines.
  • Experience working with clients across various industries including manufacturing energy transportation and retail preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Passion for environmental sustainability and a commitment to driving positive change.
