BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT REPRESENTATIVE

The clients help customers gain control of their foreign currency invoices.

Our software enables businesses to understand how currency movements impact their invoices and profitability. Our SaaS empowers them to achieve better, more consistent outcomes. We compete against the traditional banks and brokers that underserve or oversell murky, FX risk management products to unsuspecting SMEs. We re like Airwallex or TransferWise but we specialise in the FX tech, while they are more focused on the payment part.

The technology is a scalable and embedded solution that is designed to be set and forget so SME s can concentrate on growing their business and not worry about currency fluctuations. It s an exciting time to join the company were about to open our $2.7M Seed round and grow our presence in Europe and Asia. Position Type Part-time contract to fulltime employment, with flex Location Remote - Asia or UK Scope Australia and UK. Some HK, EU and Singapore.

As an integral part of our Customer Success team, you will work with our Product Marketing Manager to nurture leads and opportunities. This will include client prospecting of Accountants and SMBs to create and secure channel partners, distribution platforms and of course, customers. How we roll is a start-up that lives and breathes remote work with full flexibility for its people. We re all adults and we trust each other to get the work done.

Our CEO is around all the time, but he doesn t want you to be. Put family and yourself first, then help us get the work done. Your remote role will be aided by technology with the need to do some inperson meetings as required. The company will provide you with a mobile phone and a laptop computer or cover the cost of using yours. We will work it out.

What you will be doing

Cultivate interest across Accountants and SMBs
Build your lead pipeline through outbound activity
Nurture leads along the CX journey
Work alongside experienced PMM & CS teammates
Grow with a start-up and build a great CX
Following up leads from account-based marketing campaigns
Establish target clients through research
Cultivate interest in our Currency Score a unique and free digital service, to SME s based anywhere in Asia
Giving product feedback to the Product Manager
Build your lead pipeline through to generate a Currency Score, then hand off to the CS team.
Demo the platform and highlight the features and benefits to SME decision makers Participate in webinars
Organise daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales targets and record all activity in the CRM tool
Report your pipeline to leadership and connect to ask for any assistance needed
Work alongside a global team of experienced teammates
Working remotely with daily and weekly virtual meetings
Working in an early-stage start-up environment at its sharpest point, its clients
Gaining invaluable experience whilst disrupting an industry that is ripe for disruption

What will set you up for success

Staying positive and enjoying the journey
3+ years of sales or business development experience
Track record of closing new business and onboarding new clients
Experience in the B2B SaaS, technology or financial services sector
Problem-solving ability and excellent communication skills across digital and in person
Self-starting and self-motivated outlook The "start-up" mindset where no task is too big or too small
Strong aptitude/interest in data, technology and learning
Experience in the financial service or FX industry but see the need for it to change Present mindset.
