In 3 years They have raised funding and grown the team to 18 people across 3 countries. They are now looking for a Business Development

Representative (BDR) in Nigeria for our Goodtalent Paysurge product.

About Goodtalent Paysurge:

Paysurge.co is an Africanfocused payroll compliance and benefits marketplace for global companies to hire and pay employees across the African continent.


Job Description:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at our startup you will play a key role in accelerating our growth within Nigeria.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify and engage potential clients build relationships and drive revenue for our payroll compliance and benefits products.

Identify and target potential clients within Nigeria understanding their unique needs and challenges related to payroll and complaints.

Conduct outreach through various channels including emails and social media to generate leads and schedule meetings with prospects.

Work closely with other team members to coordinate and assist in product demonstrations and presentations for potential clients.

Utilize your creativity and initiative to develop innovative sales strategies tailored to different market segments within Nigeria.

Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress using our CRM tools (Hubspot).

Stay updated with industry trends market demands and competitors offerings to adapt sales strategies accordingly.


Requirements

Requirements:

3 years of proven experience as a Business Development Representative or sales

Strong knowledge of Nigeria and the business landscape.

Exceptional communication skills in English both written and verbal.

Experience in remote sales and understanding of the challenges & opportunities associated with remote work.

Ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently in a crosscultural environment.

Proficiency in using CRM software and sales automation tools.

Experience in sales within a Fintech or HRTech startup is required

Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets with a persistent and proactive approach.

Relevant professional experience within an e-commerce, retail merchandising, wholesaling, or category management role Experience working with top phone and popular electronics brands and scaling new businesses Adequate knowledge of the Online Marketplace and the Ecommerce Industry Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management. Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (Hubspot) Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, and exceptional organizational skills Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environments Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
