Business Development Manager Field Sales Card Payments

Join a leader in the payments and fintech space as we continue to expand our reach across the UK. We are seeking Business Development Managers (BDMs) who are passionate about driving growth and excelling in a competitive market. This position offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic field sales team dedicated to enhancing our market presence and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Visits: Conduct regular visits to both potential and existing clients across the UK to discuss their needs present innovative payment solutions and close sales.

  • Sales Development: Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to identify and nurture new sales opportunities moving leads through the sales pipeline.

  • Cold Calling: Utilize cold calling and other proactive prospecting techniques to generate new leads and schedule appointments.

  • Market Analysis: Perform thorough market analysis to spot trends assess competition and identify potential growth areas.

  • Sales Strategy: Work alongside the sales team to craft and implement robust sales strategies tailored to various UK markets.

  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain robust client relationships ensuring high satisfaction and longterm engagement.

  • Sales Targets: Achieve and surpass monthly and quarterly sales goals.

  • Reporting: Regularly report on sales activities pipeline status and overall performance.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Base Salary: 36000 to 55000 per annum dependent on experience and the size of deals managed.

  • OnTarget Earnings (OTE): Up to double the base salary based on performance.

  • Car Allowance/Company Car: Choose between a car allowance of approximately 600 per month or a company car to facilitate travel requirements.

  • Additional Benefits: Includes a competitive benefits package with pension healthcare and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in field sales ideally within the payments or financial services sector.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; adept at client and team interactions.

  • Experience collaborating with SDRs and utilising CRM systems effectively.

  • Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently manage time efficiently and travel extensively.

  • Driven to meet sales targets with a resultsoriented approach.

  • Must possess a valid drivers license and be open to extensive travel as needed.
