Role & Responsibilities:
Market Research:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify trends competitor activities and dynamics within the data and analytics domain.
  • Stay updated on industry developments to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
  • Analyze market data to inform strategic decisionmaking and business development efforts.
Client Identification and Engagement:
  • Identify potential clients who could benefit from the companys data and analytics solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and key stakeholders.
  • Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
  • Formulate and execute effective sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create compelling proposals and presentations for clients.
  • Negotiate and finalize business deals to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
Product and Solution Knowledge:
  • Develop a deep understanding of the companys data and analytics products and services.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of these offerings to clients and prospects.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and technological advancements in data analytics.
Crossfunctional Collaboration:
  • Work closely with product development marketing and other teams to align business development efforts with company goals.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure a clear understanding of client needs and effective solution delivery.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing across departments.
Strategic Planning:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets and expand the companys presence in the data and analytics industry.
  • Identify and assess potential partnerships collaborations and acquisition opportunities to drive growth.
  • Continuously evaluate market trends and competitor activities to refine strategic initiatives.
Sales Reporting and Analysis:
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance market trends and client feedback.
  • Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and refine sales strategies accordingly.
  • Utilize datadriven insights to optimize resource allocation and drive revenue growth.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor s degree in business marketing or related field (MBA is a plus)
  • 810 years of experience in business development or sales within the data and analytics domain
  • Strong understanding of data technologies analytics solutions and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Resultsoriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets

Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with data visualization analytics machine learning and AI
  • Experience with enterpriselevel sales and complex deal negotiations
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills
  • Adaptability to a rapidly changing industry landscape
