Bid Manager
Overview: Pareto is excited to announce the expansion of its business development team. We are looking for an experienced Bid Manager to be accountable for executing the endtoend bid process and managing opportunities from qualification through to contract award. The successful candidate will have proven success of winning new business as well as contributing to the expansion of existing client accounts.
Responsibilities / skills:
Manage the daytoday effort for complex high value bids including governance solution development and bid production.
Operate and assume responsibility for bid plans updating stakeholders and ensuring milestones are met
Work with Chief Commercial Officer and Bid Coordinator to manage the bid gating and sign off process from bid/no bid through to commercial and operational sign off
Work closely with the Sales Lead Business Development Director and Bid Writer in the development of initial win strategies through to submission and where appropriate successful contract award.
Achieve the successful conversion of opportunities winning new business and expanding existing ones.
Ability to analyse a clients marketplace strategic business objectives and requirements; translating this intelligence into compelling written responses working in conjunction with the Bid Writer Sales Leads and crossfunctional subject matter experts.
Understand Pareto services working closely with the functional business delivery areas.
Ensure consistency across the bid in quality style format and language.
Manage deal team deliverables in the development of proposal responses including the review and approval release processes.
Act as an agent for change identifying potential continuous improvement opportunities
Liaison with estimator commercial and design teams to ensure timely submission
With BDM lead the bid kick off solution and sign off meetings
Ability to work to tight deadlines and engage with senior stakeholders to do the same

Inform bid improvement process
Education/Specific Training/Work Experience Requirements:
Essential Proven strong bid management experience/skills in managing complex bids
Essential APMP qualification
Desirable Educated to degree level.
